Making nav menus (linklists) in Shopify is a royal PITA. You have to search for an item, wait for the list to load, and click the result. It’s so manual. There’s no bulk editing, uploads, or ways to post via API. At the time of this writing, Shopify only has the ability to read nav menus via the GraphQL API.
I have a client who sells watch parts. Some of their nav menus have 70 items. Miss me with adding each of those items manually, one by one. I don’t want the client to have to do it manually either!
Enter this chrome extension: Shopify Navigation Tool by Meraki Apps.
It lets you duplicate, export, and import navigation menus. It’s currently saving my life. It’s a $10 one-time payment—but truly worth its weight in gold.
